New Year Wishes!

This little 3 and 1/2 week old was found in a dumpster Nov 2011.  Help SCAT volunteers to continue their lifesaving work by volunteering (foster homes, fundraisers, animal care) or by your financial support through generous donations.  Check out how you can help by looking on the FORMS & INFO page online at http://www.streetcat.ca/ or go to the addition page here on the blog How You Can Help

Happy New Year to all the supporters and volunteers of SCAT Street Cat Rescue! 2011 was an exceptionally busy year. We couldn't have done it without your help. Intake of cats was up 20%, adoptions up 18% and calls for help up 33% from the previous year.

Help us celebrate SCAT's 15th Anniversary by spreading the word. With Saskatoon's population explosion, we need to increase our volunteer and funding base to keep up with the demand for our services. Keep an eye online on the Adoption Centre Blog, Facebook and our regular website at www.streetcat.ca and stay in touch. Consider becoming a foster home or a feral relocation acreage as part of your New Year's resolution. The cats need you and thank you for your compassion.

We thank all those wonderful families who made a SCAT cat a permanent member of their family this year. We have lots of other exceptional feline friends looking for their permanent roommates. Please pick one or more to support by helping to find them a permanent home. It's a great family project to start the new year off purrrrrrrfectly!

PS: Still a few "Men With Cats" Calendars available! Email scatcalendar@gmail.com for information on how to get yours.
